Marisa Mestiço , filmmaker, director, journalist. Writes, produces, directs.

 

With a career spanning over 20 years, audiovisual work is at her core. She has worked as an actress, cinematographer, editor, screenwriter, researcher, producer, and finally, a TV program director. She entered the theater industry in 1995 and won awards for best actress at theater festivals between 1997 and 1999.

 

She began her career in television in 2002. She holds a degree in Journalism and has worked in various areas of audiovisual creation, including fiction (short films, music videos, multimedia projects, and commercials). She was one of the people responsible for the multimedia script for the Coca-Cola Museum. She coordinated the content and script for the documentary "Natal Luz de Gramado." She worked as a video reporter and content producer for the Sertões International Rally documentaries from 2006 to 2010 for sports channels ESPN and SPORTV.

 

On television, he has worked on projects for cable channels such as HBO, E!, A&E, NATGEO, GNT, MGM, and Futura. He created the format and general direction for the League of Legends esports reality show ULT (ULTIMATE LEGENDS TRAINING), which ran until its second season on Webedia Brasil and aired on major internet platforms such as Twitch and YouTube.

 

She is currently the general director of MASTERCHEF BRASIL (BAND), which she helped implement in Brazil since 2013, and this year marks 10 years on BAND TV. In addition to television, she is currently finalizing the documentary A ESPERA (Waiting), which brings to light stories of the pandemic, through the aesthetic sense of remote filming, in partnership with BOBÓ FILMES.
